Wood Flooring - Warmawood
Warmawood - flooring for the way you live
Warmawood is a proven system. Developed over a long period of time, the unique composition means that the
traditional problems of movement have been virtually eliminated. When choosing to fit an underfloor heating
system there are now no compromises. You can have the floor you want, with a level of comfort previously
unobtainable. Warmawood provides you with oak floors.....the way you want them!
Engineered to last a lifetime ....Guaranteed
With its tough solid oak face bonded to a warp resistant birch plywood base, warmawood is designed to last
a lifetime. Due to its rugged construction, warmawood is not only suitable for the home, but also commercial
installations such as offices, restaurants and hotels. Warmawood is particularly suitable for new builds,
where there are high humidity levels, and can be laid as soon as it is delivered on site, without the need
for it having to acclimatise.
Quick and Easy Installation, a wide range of options
Warmawood comes in a wide variety of widths, thicknesses (16mm and 21mm for high stress areas such as over
joists etc), finishes and lengths, which means there is something suitable for any room or application. There
are a number of fitting options, floating, glued or nailed, meaning there are no limits to where you can
install the floor. Due to its high stability there is no need for a conventional expansion gap. In order to
limit sound transmission a strip of underlay board is usually fitted between the board and wall.
Low maintenance, Warmawood retains its beauty for generations to come
Warmawood floors will keep their beautiful natural appearance for many years. Simply use a vacuum cleaner
or soft brush on a regular basis to sweep up any loose dirt and debris, followed by a propriety wooden floor
cleaner, ensuring the floor is not allowed to become too wet. Once installed, the qualities of warmawood will
mean you will probably never want to use any other type of flooring system again!

Warmawood is suitable for most underfloor heating systems provided the correct installation procedures are
followed to our guidelines.
It is essential that the UFH system be used correctly after installation. i.e. it is switched on gradually
and taken to working temperature, not turned up to full temperature straight away as this may cause damage
to the floor.
