Floor Insulation
In response to changing market demands in the insulation market, QUINN Therm, at Scotchtown, Ballyconnell, Co.
Cavan was commissioned in October 2004 to produce and distribute rigid polyurethane thermal insulation
products for the Irish and UK market.
These products are used in insulating cavity walls, floors and roofs for commercial, industrial and domestic
markets and offer better insulation properties than conventional polystyrene.

Tile Backer Board
Insulated tile-backer boards are particularly suited to under-tile heating
applications. Installation below the heating cables or mats on an existing
un-insulated concrete or timber sub-floor will greatly reduce warmup periods and
subsequent running costs.
Simpleheat standard board size 1200x600mm available in 6, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and
60mm thickness. All our tile-backer boards are supplied boxed, for ease of
handling and storage.
Therma-Coat
Therma-Coat is a revolutionary insulating acrylic primer. Designed to reduce the
carbon foot print of buildings, Therma- Coat can reduce energy loss by up to
20%. Therma-coat can be used on walls ceilings and especially floors below
underfloor heating.
Can be used in conjunction with the tile-backer boards or directly onto the sub
floor, in situations where zero floor height is available for a conventional
